The instant Heroin drug test is a disposable device that will detect 6-MAM (heroin metabolite) in human urine at a cut-off concentration of 10 ng/mL. This device will check for the presence of 6-MAM in a person’s system via urine to determine if he or she has used the drug. Heroin test kits come in a box of 25 with the package insert.
The instant Heroin drug test is a rapid, qualitative immunoassay for the detection of 6-MAM in a convenient, one-step dip test. Simply dip the test strip in the urine sample for 15 seconds and read results at 5 minutes. The Heroin test kit detects 6-MAM through visual interpretation of color development on the strip.
6-Monoacetylmorphine is one of the three active metabolites of heroin (diacetylmorphine), the others being morphine and the much less active 3-acetylmorphine (3-ACM). 6-MAM is rapidly created from heroin in the body, and then is either metabolized into morphine or excreted in the urine.
